FILEWISE TAX PROS ("FILEWISE," "we," "us") provides tax preparation services from 701 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75202. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and how we protect it.
We collect the information you give us when you fill out our forms, book an appointment or have us prepare your return. This includes your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and the tax documents and personal details needed to prepare an accurate return.
We use your information to prepare and file your tax return, schedule and remind you of appointments, request documents, send return and refund status updates, answer your questions and meet our legal obligations as a tax return preparer.
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number to send the messages you agreed to receive. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We share information only with service providers who help us run our business and prepare your return (such as tax software, bank product providers you choose and secure storage), with the IRS and state tax agencies when we file, and when the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.
We keep a written information security program, limit access to staff who need it, and use secure systems to store and transmit your information, consistent with the FTC Safeguards Rule.
